Been a while since I got time etc to go fishing, so thought I would at least try. Thought I'd try North side of the Belfast Lough, might be a little sheltered. Had thawed out some mack for bait. Parked up, coat, scarf, waders on, thru the tunnel, down the steps and left onto the beach. Was I wrong....
On seeing the scenes in the pics, back to the car and away again.
The pics show the spot about 2 hours before hi tide, which is at 2pm, Wonder what it is like now. Cant even claim a blank as never even set the rod up.
Maybe this week will see the weather calm down for the weekend.

Yeah, in those kind of conditions it more of an ordeal than a pleasure, you arrive back home exhausted and numb, and wonder why you did it !!!!!!!

If it wasnt for the fact that the only place to stand in those conditions is on the train tracks, I actually might have tried.

Thanks Neil, thats a decent weblink.
Looks like towards the weekend things might improve, I hope.
The way things have been lately I probably have the best maintained reel and polished rod in the north at the moments. And if I tie any more rigs I am going to start a shop on that auction site.
Heres hoping for a change to the current weather patterns.

Hope it is Nick, planning a digging session followed by throwing some perfectly good lead at the sea. If I can get the sea upset enough it might just throw some of these cod that are about, back at me.
You never said if you caught at white park? (or should i not ask ).
