Been a while since anyone posted any fishing reports.
My excuse is the weather, work and a nasty cold.
Anybody catching anything?

I can fish in my front garden today, dont think there would be many fish but plenty of water. I managed to get to college yesterday, but wont even be able to get out in my jeep today ( if I was allowed to use it for fishing) let alone my van. Ive just walked to the pub in my waders and its about 3 feet deep down there. |

I only went to see how deep the water was and if I could get out. I dont think the pub will be open for a few weeks now. |

I can see that there will be no point fishing the Lee for a while.
I bet that car park charges extra for valeting!!
Hope you yourself were missed in the flooded homes, seem to becoming more frequent these days. Least you got to wear your waders.

Its going to destroy my two favorite bass marks, one is an estuary the other has a small river running into it. The last big storm took half the sand off Cregg beach leaving one side a barren wasteland of boulders. Its going to be thick with silt for weeks.
Looks like we got away with it lightly compared to Redmouse. |

thankfully my house was ok. the roads in and out of the village were pretty bad but one of them was just about passable.
my sister in law used to work in the hotel that was flooded till she got laid off a few months back. she didnt realise how lucky she was at the time, she was only out of work a few weeks but might have needed a new car had they kept her on
havent been fishing in a few weeks, hopefully the worst of the weather will be gone soon and the weed cleared out by the tides by time i get out again. serious withdrawal sypmtoms now.........i even contemplated getting a wii and the Bass fishing game to go with it |
