As you know I snapped my Airflo Bluetooth rod section. I phone the tacklediscounts.co.uk and spoke to them to see if they would be the ones to talk to about a replacement section or Airflo themselves, as I had registered the rod with them for the guarentee.

They said to deal with them, which made life easy. I was asked to explain what the issue was and then to send in a picture of the break. That was done and this was replied to straight away with them checking the state of play with Airflo. I was told that it was the standard 25 quid for the section, and did I want to do that. I asked if they would replace the tip section as a preventative method of stopping it happen again. The spoke to Airflo again and said it would be 35 quid for the 2 sections.

I sent an email back again saying that the rod was only 40 quid new from them and that it probably wasn't worth it. They then responded saying the would wave the extra tenner, so I now get the 2 parts for 25 quid. I thought that was oretty good. All was then sorted on Paypal and I now waiting for the bits to arrive.

All in all it took about 4 hours from start to finish.

Just as a quick update.

I have the sections of my rod now. They arrived Thursday AM

Hopefully these sections will be luckier at catching the fishies that the last sections...
