this is my second year of sea fishing and first year of going for the winter species. so far this year ive had a schoolie and a 2.5lb bass which i didnt even realise i had it was court up in so much weed. i have tried numerious times to get one using the info i have read here. ive tried squid head, squid , mack head , fillet of mack, lug, rag, peeler and limpet. the rigs i have tried is on 1/0 pulley 3/0 pulley, 4/0 pulley, 4/0 pennels 3/0 pennels. i have chucked out at all ranges with all baits. the only thing i havent tried is live baiting and im gunna try it next time i go out now i know how to do it.
so all im asking is a little help or secret way to catch these beasts im not looking for size just to catch 1. any special combo of bait any persistant range they are court at. and the best rig to have a chance of catching one on. oh yer and i fish selsey coz i cant drive anywhere else.
Thanks for all your help so far.

you might try live pout in close 10-15yrds is enough, also just after a good blow that again they're in close, plenty of people regard them as summer spieces but I've always seen best results around oct nov.
hope this might help |
