hi ya fella turn left as you come to alde high street follw the road till you get to the dirt track. keep going till you see a ramp drive up it along the wall till you see the tower then drive down and around the towerpark up, now its foot power, basically the rule is, the further you walk the better it gets, wants to be at least 15 mins the closer you get to the point which you will see on google earth the better. hope this helps, going myself monday, cheers matt

Went to Aldeburgh yesterday and followed a fellow poster's advice and walked
along the beach until i got to a clear spot past the groynes. I had legs like geoff capes afterwards big grin

Enjoyed the day ,caught fish and a nice tan big grin

One thing did puzzle me though, Who are all the guys in the 4x4 s and how come they have keys to a locked gate that the rest of us have to begin our walk at?

yes you can obtain a key for the gate and yes there is a waiting list for it but once you pay your money if your vehicle aint able to make it along the road ya dont get your money back as your first drive down there some1 will be at the gate waiting for you but as i say if they say the vehicle wont make it you lose your money so hope you have a good vehicle he's there web site for you to have a look www.orfordnessanglingclub.com
