ive bagged up a few times at blyth pier, think its slowed down tho now, aint been for mackerel for a few weeks as got too many in freezer already but last post i read by bluesbiker (sorry if spelt your username wrong) said last time he was their hardly any where caught

yeah ive always got my freezer full of fresh fish ive caught ... haha *looks away* i just tried spinner fishing today, it kicks ass! |

where did u go m8, got a spinning rod, hardly get to use it tho, rly should try and get out with it, fancy spinning for bass, test my new waders out

loads of mackerel about 2 mile of the coast of Hartlepool, i had 9 daylights on and brought 7 BIG mackerel up on one line,.  |

Everyone seems to be in the same boat to be honest not much macky been caught at all people on the boats seem to be having the best luck. Off the beach though its pritty bad which is a shame as i do most of my fishing off the beach. |

aye every1 is saying the same, only place that was "quite" good was blyth pier but only if you got their at the crack of dawn so a couple of weeks ago 4am, |

Caught a canny amount other month up Borness point ,went up again and they seemed patchy,never been out locally to the piers to catch any though this year. |
