Hi plentymorefishinthesea, thanks for the report nice haul of doggies you had, not be long before the cod start to show there.
It's not the walk there that kills you it's the walk back!!!
Regards

well done m8, sounds like a great bit of fun. How far would you say you were casting though, as I have been told by many people, that you have to cast 10-120 yards to catch fish. Would be interrested to see if that is correct in your case! |

yea, thats what I heard too, though it can really do your legs in, when you are weighed down with gear! However, I was also told that towards the end, there is a bank of sand sticking out into the sea (I think you can see it as you walk). Apparently, its quite shallow there, so you have to cast quite far out to get to the fish. Thats all the info I have managed to glean in my short time as a fisherman and I hope it helps. Good luck and I look forward to your report m8! |

town stretch up to the tower fishes better on the flood then after that it fishes better going down be careful if you fish in the groynes some can be very snaggy but after that you get into really deep water and plenty of decent fish but deepish water all the way along the further south you walk the deeper it becomes |
