helo john i fished cogden a while back and fished to the right of the bottom car park sort of inbetween their and the cliffs just kept it simple lug and rag every ten to fifteen mins then eventually the fish picked up on the bait good bass and good size pout admittidly this was just as the sun had gone down chap next to me caught eels and dogs hope this helps.

Simon,

Yes we will get together and have a trip down there in October, should start to get good then. It is a long way but you can have some great fishing. Last November i fished at Abbotsbury and had the best whiting fish ever many fish over 11/2lb mark and a couple touching the 21/2lb.

Thanks for the report geoffmc. Will let you know how i get on if the wind drops.
John
