thanks for the advice

i am going to my local angling store today to get all the stuff

just out of curiosity howmuch would all the stuff cost just so i know if i am getting ripped off or not

That I cant really help you with, down here a packet of wildeye sandeels costs about six euro. A friend of mine makes the barrel leads and all my plain leads in return for all the scrap lead I give him. The rest of the stuff I get in bulk from the UK. I send to Veals for most of the swivels and hooks. I use Sakuma rig body as the line which is between £6-£7 per hundred metres.

You dont need to spend a fortune, A packet of hooks, some beads, some crimps a few leads and a few jellies. An expensive black jelly will do nothing more than a cheap one and will probably last as long. At a guess £10-£15 will get you all you need but maybe someone else could give you a better idea.

In Fanore which would be the closest place to me to buy tackle, the guy who owns it would help you out and if you tell him what you want to do he will sell you enough to make a few traces to get you started. Maybe if you explain in your local shop they may be willing to help you out. Not all of them are trying to rip you off, just dont buy anything you dont need at the moment.
