Hi, and welcome, its not my area, but my advice is to say where and when your fishing for the best advice. what happens today may not happen tomorrow. Cheers....Mick

cullen harbour good for bait so get a spade or fork. half hour should get plenty bait.
off the beach for flatties, the odd turbot. Portnockie for conger, off the back of the pier.
i heard portgordon was good for bass last year, off the beach just over the surf.
mackeral off buckie pier as well. but am sure youll meet a few more local folk that will help you out

Hi mate, and a warm welcome to the forums.

If you are considering fishing off rocks then you will need a good beefy rod to cope with any potential snags.

It may also be worthwhile in investing in a few lead lifters so as to lift you lead clear of snags also a good fixed spool with plenty of line capacity with a fast retrieve.
