Just come back from a week at Strontian, fished Ardamurchan last Monday & had 3 small pollock & a fairly big mackarel, but only fished for an hour as the missus finished her book!
Tried Laudale jetty later in the week & had 11 mackarel & about 6 more small pollack. Everyone I spoke to was doing well with mackarel but it seemed like the best time was about 1-2hrs before high water.
Theyr'e out there anyway.
