I was too polite to mention the lack of sugar Simon, you rude ungrateful thing you! Don't listen to him Mike, you're flask of builder's tea was a life saver. Imagine, four grown men turning blue with the cold in the middle of August. On that note, let's meet up somewhere warmer, like New Jersey or southern Spain.
On the other hand, we could take a trip down to Fleet Lagoon this weekend because Guide Simon knows a good spot down there. If that's too far, I have been tipped off about a good mark closer to home worth trying.
I'm happy to go anywhere, just so long as there aren't any f****ng sea trout around. angry

Any advances on Weymouth? Forecast for the Bank Hols is a cracker. Need to arrange something soon or wifey will have me trawling the local shopping centres. Still fancy a cast silverfly?

Plenty of time yet Mick. You lot will go off to work all day though so that limits things somewhat.

End of season get together sounds good. Let's organise it for definate this time. How about Hayling or Church Norton?
Any day would suit me now I'm on the scrap heap. I always fancied early retirement but not quite this early!!

Church Norton.....hmmm.....I could probably make it over to that 'un. Bit of a trek, but what the hell!

I'm going to give it a go next week on the early flood (there are some big ol' mullet in the channel that need looking at). Wed/Thu/Fri early floods might be worth looking at?
