Hi mate, A very warm welcome to the forums, My advice foir what its worth is to keep your gear as its so hard to replace and you never get its true value.
Sea fishing can be done on a very small budget and build up gradually. I and a few older ones are not tackle tarts and are happy in the knowledge that is the hook and whats on the end of it that catches the fish.
Cheap combo's can be had for less than £50 and do the job.
I would hate for you to part with your gear that I suspect has taken years for you to aquire. Whatever you decide I wish you luck and look forward to reading your posts and exploits.
Cheers keith |

Hi mate, I could have a look at your kit if you like and let you know which items are good for sea and which you could dispose of if you wanted. I live on and fish Hayling Island regularly. |
