Right, i have just spoken to Hamdden Ltd, who run the leisure side to Welsh Water. I have asked them if it would be possible to have a limited numbers Kayak competition at LYS-Y-Fran resevoir in Pembrokeshire, eith this or next year.
The initial response was somewhat dissapointing, however to save me a load of time who would be interested in a one off, Fly Fishing from a Yak competition on a reservoir?
The basic requirements are pfd, some personal insurance, a kayak (oddly), Fly Rod etc......
Enough of us fly fish for Bass / Pollack / Mackeral. whi not trout?
Let me know thoughts, if enough people are interested I will mither Welsh Water again! |
