Hello chaps,

I thought I should introduce myself as I have been lurking for a while and learning more about the sport.

My name is Cam, I am from Darwen, Lancs. I havent fished since I was a boy, but I am becoming more and more interested and am about to buy a budget rod and reel to get myself started.

Any advice is very welcome, looking forward to getting involved!

Thanks for the welcome chaps, I am definately interested in a days fishing and hopefully learn how its done.

If anyone fancies a go at clay shooting I would be happy to extend the same offer and take them with me sometime, I cant hit much but still make lots of noise! big grin

That sounds fun, never used a shotgun before, but if you can get hold of a SMG, LMG, GPMG, SLR, 25PDR, 105MM Pack Howitzer, or M107 SP Gun, i might stand a chance of hitting something. rolling on the floor Cheers...Mick

Thanks for that, where do you guys generally fish? Ideally I want somewhere that I can take the wife and kids, who can go off and do their own thing and leave me to it.

I am happy with 2nd hand gear, I dont want to splurge a fortune on new kit only to find that I dont get out more than a couple of times a month. I will be giving Keith a call later on, hopefully he can sort me out!

Thanks again matey, looking forward to giving it a try asap!
