people, me and a friend from work peter,
baits, frozen razor
tide, low water around 2300
rigs, me 2 hook flapper and peter had running ledger
results, me 5 bass to 5lb 14oz and peter, 4 bass to 3lb 06oz
i promised Peter the Bass virgin that id try to get him off the mark so collected him and brought him to my favourite beach. when we got there a nice surf was rolling so i was optomistic that we'd get one or two. we started off with the spinning rods and i got hit a few times but didnt connect properly and lost the fish. by 2230 we gave up and decided to try some bait.
first baits were in the water at around 2300 and i got a massive thump while i was setting up my second rod. a good scrap followed and i landed a nice 66cm fish of 5lbs 14oz. my biggest of the new season . things were looking good. i put on fresh bait and cast out again. while i was finishing the second rod i noticed the first had gone slack so i started reeling in. this fish didnt seem as big but was scrapping for all it was worth. shortly after a little playing i brought it in, a little schoolie of 41cms and 1lb 09oz.
i was hoping peter would get one and as i was putting the little fella back he left out a roar(peter, not the fish ). i looked up to see him in the water with the rod. he got his first Bass. it wasnt a monster but a lovely fish of 53cms and 3lbs 06 oz, to be his biggest of the night.
it was quiet then for a while till we both got bites. i landed another nice fish, 59cms and 4lb 12oz, while peters was a modest fella at 47cms and 2lbs 08oz.
we both got a few more after that and were gonna stay till the bait was gone but just before 1 it started lashing and we were covered by black clouds. it didnt look like it was gonna stop for a while so we decided to head off, both happy that we landed some fish.
this equaled my best ever night here when i also had 5 Bass but the fish were a bit bigger tonight. i dont think it was coincidence that there was a good surf both nights.
the other fish we landed were, 46cm, 2lb 05oz, 47cm, 2lb 04oz, 45cm, 2lb 02oz, and 44cm, 2lb 01oz with another few dropped on the way in.

Hi Red, I download my pics to a photobucket account[url]http://photobucket.com/ [/url]
It gives you the oppertunity to resize them to what you want then I just copy the img code that is produced for you and insert it using the img tab at the top of the page.
Nice fish, It wasnt that long ago you whwere posting looking for your fist one now you post good fish all the time. |

cheers baitdigger, i basicly did the same as you but used imageshack instead of photobucket but i resized before i uploaded them to speed it up, ill give that one a go.
i spent a good while looking for my first one and the smile on peters face when he landed his first brought it all back. pity the rain was so bad, id have liked a 6th to make it my best ever night but im not gonna complain with 5 fish out of 9 . good night to be out. hopefully gonna land a few more durin the week, fingers crossed. |

imageshack is fine but you were using the wrong link.. with image shack always use the link called " Direct link " and then add the [img] and [/img] tags around and all will be fine
As you can see I changed the links for you
Great report with great pics thanks for posting them
cheers
