Fished at penington masrh / bay, near lymington last night. tricky to find though, off of ridgeway lane, milford road. fished 8:00pm till about 1:00 am.
Used rag crab and squid very little produced on the crab and squid, BUT... between us all was catching bass after bass after bass on the good old rag. only one was big enough to keep. the rest were under size and thrown back to fight another day. Had a couple of good knocks on the rod but no biggies for me.
4 of us fished 8 rods out in total.
24 bass (small ones) 1 bass ( big enough to keep )
1 small bream
A few other mates turned up a couple of hours afterwe started, fished same area bit further down, 3 fishing 6 rods out, bass total of 10 ish, with one big enough to keep too.
An enjoyable night overall.  [/b] |
