Hi people .
Went for a session down CHESIL BEACH on fathers day.
Got over the fear of chasting,I was right crap rod and leader knott.
Bought by own now and all is good.

After reading a thread on this sight i must say that i agree that chesil is living in the past,
I have heard of all the stories about how people could catch 70-80 mackies each but fron what i saw on sunday those days seem 2 b long gone.

As i was fishing for a good 7 houres and only saw a total of 12 fish cought.

I agree that something should be done about this.If oure costline fishing is going to survive.

wednesday evening 22 april very large shoals of mackerel chasing small transparent fish which were jumping up on to the beach. Just like when I were a lad ...lol. so they have moved on.
