Hi Willpender,

have a look at my catch report for penzance, i didnt see anyone fishing from the peir but if you fancy some frustration then get yourself a spinning rod, float nd some bread and have a walk along the prominard over high tide some decent mullet there, or head over to the beach just the other side of the harbour in newlyn, i used a lug to catch some wrasse all used was a 1hook clip down,

Regards
Mark

went to day just fished of the pier had an excelent day , fished from 11-5 whilst the tide was flooding icaught 23 wrasse using rag worm as bait ,the biggest being just over a pound ,( just dropping bait over the end and within 30 seconds there was a fish on ), that was really good fun till i got bord and the tide had come up enuff to put the float on and try that way , to my suprise 1 min after the first cast the float went down and i started reeling what felt like a nice fish , ha brought up on the peir only to find it was a pollack about 10cm long , over the next 4 hours i caught 5 more pollack gradually getting bigger ,also using rag worm as bait. all where returned minus the last fish , a pollack of 2lb which i kept for dinner, it was a really enjoyable day and if the weather is as nice as it was today , im considering going again 2moz. anyway long report , cheers willpender
