Hi people
im new to the site im from hull and fish the coast from brid to the point regular. i go digging my worms and get a real pleasure catching fish off bait collected by myself (makes the sore back all worth while). was just wondering how i go about collecting peller crab. Any info ie location tides ect would be much appreciated

if ya aint got traps mate the only way you are gonna get them is by looking under rocks,kelp etc. |

Hi Andy, welcome to the site, one place you could try is Filey brigg, just walk onto the brigg at low water and look in the rockpools, also any sheltered areas under the kelp etc. peelers have to hide, so if it looks like a good hiding place check it out. Also check around groynes etc if the beach has them. Cheers..Mick |

ino its along shot but if you go to holbeck in scarbs i am down there most days ill be more than happy to show u how u go on bwt collecting them although everyone down there yesterday had a bad day we managed bwt 30 me and my dad i think this frsh water has put them off also the weather lol but as i say if you wanted ide let u no wat to look for

cheers guys for the info. i think i saw you (cod father) at dimlington the other week saw your picks some nice fish there mate. we were ther on the friday got fed up of the weed and the stipped hooks tho.lol |

wer we to ur left you and ur m8 had a lil bass? if it was we didnt stay much longer than than u guys maybe an hour or so lol and cheers was a great week fishing there we will be down again soon hope we cn meet again

yeah that was me goin on hol next week so will probably be down there in a couple of weeks time now. want 1 of them smoothies or a ray would be nice lol |
