Hi Boansy, as you can tell were trying to find a site around the Kilnsea area, this would allow the N/east and East coast members a chance to get to it, and its also straight down the motorway for the N/west contingent. At the moment its proving difficult, the sites down there so far only have around 8 pitches max. Were hoping someone local can help out with location, and site near to spurn. If you can make it when its sorted that would be great. Cheers..Mick |

I hope the North east contingent can put on a better show than last time as it was only attended by the dedicated few who I may add went all out to making it an enjoyable meet and in this they suceeded..
We on the other hand may struggle as far as atendance goes as a few have gone over to another site, but we will endevour to make it a good show as we still have dedicated lads and lassies that have remained with us.
Why the other site still allow snide comments to be made about this site beggers belief.
Not to worry it takes all sorts to make a world.
I will say that Fishingwithfrank did have the curtesey to wish us all the best for the Holyhead trip and for that Im grateful.

Hiya me old mucker, As this is just a camping/fishing meet, and not a comp it doesnt matter how many from each coast turn up. The main thing is to get a good group together for the meet. which reminds me, would Joan n Colin be coming. Cheers..Mick |

Hi Plank, I took a peek at the reviews, It only has shower and toilets and is £18 a night, its only £15 on crows nest with shops, club etc. It would be near enough but not value for money. Cheers..Mick |

At the risk of being banned or told off. I feel that I must state the obvious.
At every meet leaflets have been handed out to our members with a view to "poaching" them.
I am a person who says what he thinks and at least folk know where they stand with me.
Some like me for it and some hate me for it but either way I dont give a damb.
I certainly wont have someone peeing all over my back and then trying to convince me that its Raining.
Some individuals on the other site are or have been personal friends of mine and if my reply offends them, then I apologise in advance.
The top and bottom of it is that I will fish with indivdual members of the other site but will not fish with them as representatives of that site.
Cheers Rabbio2 |

Does it really matter what site people use? i use several and dont see the problem after all we have the freedom to choose which site we prefer. As with all things in life people will try to tempt others i dont see the problem with that.As i said i use several sites but this is the main one i always come back too.
I think it might be a goog idea to clear the air and move on at the end of the day lifes to short! also the more the merrier
Cheers Dave |

Hi, as its a social meet for anglers young n old, and not a forum meet as such, it doesnt matter to me who comes, Theres no competition involved, between sites or groups. The best we will do as regards any kind of competition is the usual pool for biggest, or most fish etc. Its only my opinion, but if the meet is kept friendly and not used as a soapbox to promote any site, it doesnt matter which one we are on. Cheers...Mick |
