im planning on fishing from Pendine beach for bass over the weekend and this is probably a stupid question but how far will i need to cast in order to catch one?
i know it all depends on the location/weather conditions/tides etc but as a general rule how close do they come into the shore (im not a very good caster, about 60-70yds max)?
Cheers

If theres a bit of surf on then 60-70 yards will be ample even at pendine where its very flat. But if the sea is calm then change to 3 hook flapper rigs baited with worm or crab for the flatties. |
