well i had some worm left over from a previous trip down south sunday night,so thought i would give the pier ago,hightide was 1715 hrs,i arrived and was fishing by 1430 hrs,after i had manged to get onto the pier,for those of you that dont know the code on the gate has not changed but the lock inside it is broken,so it will not open after you have put the code in,it has been reported to the council still waiting for them to fix it lol.
right hightide was a 10.9 just right,but there was a NE blowing so to be honist i was'nt expecting to much,with me i also had some mackie heads from another trip to see if there were any congers lurking around,as there are alot of reports of them being caught on the channel,anyway never had a bite not a thing,i used squid,rag,bluey,mackie,sandeel,but as i said i did'nt think i would catch with the NE,but it was nice to be out and have the pier all to myself,oh well back to work for 6 days then 15 days off i can feel a few trips coming on lol.
