Always best with high water after dark. We do have high tides at night this weekend, I will be doing them and expect to do well. Start about an hour or so before high water and fish it down to 3 1/2 hours after, then give up and go home.
A fair few smuts around at present also some gilthead bream and the odd decent bass. |

Why not try the Coastguard Station or the Funfair? Plenty of parking and it's all free after 6 pm. |

i always thought that the eaststoke end was more productive at night. When i said about being no space i meant to fish not for my car lol, where is the coast guard station anyway? |

You could be right about Eastoke but I have never done that well there. The Coastguard Station is a couple of hundred yards west of Eastoke Corner (where the shops are). Oddly enough I am going to try Eastoke myself again on Thursday night - will probably be around groyne 20. |
