three of us arrived at midday and headed towards the cottages with strong winds blowing in the direction of west bay i used live launce the other two used hermits peeler lug rag and sprats h/tide was around 5pm and rigs were alternated running ledger, pulleys ,flappers it looked really bassy and i know if i was a bass i would have had no problem trying one of them launces i was offering but they had set their minds on being studs if you know what i mean still nothing at 8pm so i put the feathers on and although the sea was quite lumpy managed 4mackie on the third cast then they came in twos and ones theirs only so much chucking out feathers before i start feeling dun in so perservered till 11.30pm on the other rods but it was completley dead didnt stop raining till midnight, next morning from 5 till 10.30 very much the same the only high light was seeing a sea trout leap out right opposite me and no i didnt although the fishing was poor we all enjoyed the fishing, theres somthing special about chesil beach.

coming down your way nxt month
,fish on chesil whole of the wk end only
only way to fish the bank
love waking up in the morining with swans etc flying over .best place tobe lucky xxxxx mick
