Sounds perfect Mick. That would give us a good chance to explore the bars well out and then see what comes in with the tide. Don't forget to take bread flies as there may well be some decent Mullet about. I can post directions and where to park nearer the time. Bring it on. |

Put me down in light pencil as #7.
I can't commit 100% just yet, but I'd like to get there if I can - I'll confirm one way or the other in the week before.
Do any particular flies tend to work better for Hillhead?....Best to bring the right ammunition!...
Fingers crossed I'll see you there... |

Hi Darth Wader, good to hear you might make it to our meet as well.
On my last couple of outings to Hill Head the flies that did the damage were a sparse DNA Clouser and a crease fly. There's a good chance of mullet being around too, so a Red Tag, PTN or humble Bread Fly may come in handy. |

Thanks for that - I'll bear that in mind. As I said, I can't be absolutely sure yet, but I'm hopeful.... |

So to confirm Mick we will need to be at hillhead for about 07.30 in order to fish last hour of ebb and then the flood ? And then i take it we will be finding a suitable place for something to eat and drink and a good chinwag afterwards? |

Hello chaps!
This is looking more promising for me now, but I just have a couple of questions...
1: Is it fair to assume this is a 'wader' do?
2: Where exactly will everyone meet up?
I assume someone will be wearing a rose behind their ear and carrying a copy of an obscure 1970s soft-core top-shelf magazine just for easy identification...(now where is that old issue of Knave?).... |
