I eat smoothhound , a lot of people do. Just because some people do not like the taste doesn`t mean that you will not and that you have to put them back . If you want to try one take a small male about 4-5 lb not a female in pup.
A few recipes here http://www.sea-fishing.org/ftopict-1523.html

I'm confused confused , in this thread people are saying you should put smoothies back and that they are crap to eat , but if you look at the seafood recipes part of this site , there are members swapping recipes and discussing how good they are to eat confused . They obviously take theirs home to eat !
Is there a law against taking smooth hound , or is it a personal opinion based on conservation.

Thanks to those who have resonded regarding my question on the Smoothounds

Yes, I did take exception to the response however this will not stop me asking other questions regarding my lack of knowlege due to lack of experience.

Let's put this behind us now,

Thanks for the topic on the general forum

Tight lines to all
