The 3 rigs I would sugest are

3 hook flapper

2 hook flapper with running ledger

Wishbone

But remember to scale down your hooks acordingly, I myself use fine wire aberdeens 1s or 1/0s

Manky smelly lugworms and fresh ragworms especially the small habour rag or maddies as they are called, are excellent baits for flatties also. happy

match tip when you tie your snood i use in clear water a snood consisting of 4"of 15lb then join 3" of 6lb this lighter line then allows the bait to flap about in the tide more ,also add a cube of herring or mackerel at the top of the hook for scent (this is better in murky water) top off your bait with small white rag as this gives a good attractant and fish love em ,good combo is mussel razor topped of with white rag and the cube of herring at the top THE COD
