Hi Guys
I am getting out for some practice before the charity match!
I am going to the Jetty on Wednesday, I will be getting there early as my bait should be delivered to my door on Tuesday.
Looking at getting to the jetty for around 8am and staying till about 15:30(ish) or as long as the 40 Rag and 60 Lug last me!
Anyone else up for it?
Matt |

if anyone is in the north london area and would like a lift then they are welcome to catch a lift and come along.
Can stop off at Gone fishing if need to order your bait!

Good luck matt.. Been a while, hope you're good..???
Take some squid mate, seemed to be a favourable bait to the worms on my last trip to the jetty..
Would tag along but will be down in Poole by then..
All the best mate, see you at the match... |

As my bait came in on time on tuesday I decided to go out last night instead.
Started of great, first couple of casts had a small codling on rag/squid...he went back, then a couple of small flatties one on lug\squid the other on the rag\squid.
Nothing on the whole squid all night
Then about midnight, nothing.....the wind picked up something nuts then by 02:45 I packed up and went home.
But I can recommend the bait I got from ebay. Slightly more expensive then normal, but delivered straight to my door.
I got 60 lug and 1/2 lb rag delivered for £24. all the lug where a great size (could have passed for black lug easily) and the rag where all lively and biting.
Will be getting my bait from here now on!
Look up 'baitandtacklecentre' on ebay I thnk he is based in Southend

All of the shops in Southend apart from under the pier are good for bait. Alexandra Angling is the best in my humble opinion. Jetty Anglers on the sea front is also usually very good. The one under the pier has mainly frozen baits and some rag not lug for some obscure reason. |
