Not open sundays, you get good advice and good bait, need to book in advance to make sure you get what you want as can be very busy (good sign )

On the A28/A268 next to the 'Station House Pub' at the Newenden end of Northiam before the railway crossing.

Although the tackle shop is joined on to a pet shop it offers a nice range of sea and fresh water tackle.
The bait selection is pretty good, and the people there are very friendly & helpful.
Plenty of parking directly out front. Well worth a visit. big grin

I am brand new to sea fishing and i cannot speak highly enough of Prime Angling.

They are very helpful in all areas from gear, to baits and everything inbetween.
I have never felt like i am being sold to, yet always walk out with something even if it is just advice.
The local tide tables are the best £1 i have ever spent.

Hi all, bait shhop info very usefull but unfortunately one shop posted here i have found very unhelpful,arrogant and extremely rude, several months ago we approached this particular personhoping to gain a little info on the area and obtain some bait and were more or less told that as we were'nt local's we could go swing. SO THIS IS ONE SHOP i WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE AN OUTSIDER. All i will say on here is that this shop is in the Thames area. If you wish to know more just pm me and I will pass on the info.
