Hi all,
Fished at Sandgate Castle Friday night. Started at 21:00 and high tide was at 01:10. Really slow at first with huge problems from crabs taking the bait.
I fished two rods both with pulley rigs, on one i used rag worm and the other i fished a whole fillet of mackeral.
Started to get bites at about 00:30 on the mackeral so i slung the worm and fished both rods with mackeral.
Not a bad result in the end with 2 decent Bass. One weighing just under 6LB and the other just under 5LB. Not the best night or the biggest Bass i have had from there but hey< who's complaining?
