Hi there tried Blyth pier on the 21st feb as it was impossible to fish the beach , quite a few decent whiting about with the odd codling every now and then. SandyBay was a none starter due to the amount of rubbish comming out of the river,
Yes this weather is not helping us really. I have not been out to Blyth beach or pier for a little while now. But I have heard that some nice cod have been caught over the last few weeks. Even though this look appealing for me to go and try fishing for cod the weather is definitely putting me of. 8O
