Due to work commitments we didn't get to Hartlepool till about 2. Called at the Friaridge Tackle shop to see Chas & get some bait ( he's not well you know, had a snotty nose for ages, coughing & spluttering like a Cortina I had in the 80's) Anyway the worms were good & so were the razor. Got on Steetleys by about 2.30, slight breeze, very slight swell, hoyed the bait out & within 15 mins Stuey was into a decent Whitey which, seeing as he's a freshwater fly lad was good news! Not many other lads fishing, about 8 max. I wouldn't say the Whiteys were prolific but by the time we came off at 9 we had about 12 decent fish & had put about 7 or 8 back. NO FLIPPIN COD THOUGH!!
& you know what they say.....'A bad days fishing is still better than a good day at work'

Supposed to be a good forecast for the weekend, high winds Thursday & Friday, calming for Saturday & Sunday. Tight lines anyone who's out there.
