Me being Jealous of all you guys and gals that are going to be fishing over the weekend whilst i'm working for the next 7 days/nights i decided to go to a new mark i found but hadn't fished yet so only having a few hrs went down there at 9am HT was just after 10, with just 1 score of lug and a few squid, set up 1 rod with 2 hook flapper size 2 hooks baited with single lug and lug tipped with squid hoping for some flatties and 1 rod with pennel size 4/o with 3lug wrapped with squid hoping to find some cod, nothing on either rod till 10.30 then i get a couple of taps and then a pull on my 'flattie rod' to my joy big grin in come a codling of 1 1/2lb after jumping for joy and doing a little jig i rebaited and put it back out within 10 mins tap,tap bang, this time a nice 2 1/2lb codling big grin big grin more jumping and jigging while rebaiting my 'cod rod' gets pulled hard round to the right wound in but no fish chucked them both back out 15 mins later 'cod' rod bang bang and still pulling wound in fish on could feel it shaking it's head just as i'm thinking this is a better fish off it came crying ,rebaited cast back out(after sharpening hooks)15 mins later tap tap bang bang on my cod rod pulled in another of about 2 1/2lb ..Disco Inferno burn baby burn wooo!
had another couple of cast but nothing it was now 12.30 and i had to go but was well happy with my session,by the way all 3 fish were returned as they were all lip hooked.
So good luck to all of you that are out this weekend.

Lee.
p.s trying to get pictures from phone to pc to forum, but don't hold your breath.
