Used to catch loads of them as a kid from Seaford bach and Newhaven East Arm......definitely a Bullhead. |

It may look like spratman's ex but "it's a sand goby", have checked alll my and my dads books "he owed a fish shop (not that that makes any difference as he not here to help).
Jay180 did it have a spine on the gill cases if so it could be Bullhead (Miller's thumb) ("Cottus Gobio").
If not it's a sand goby ("Pomatoschistus pictus), it still not a great looker so could look like spratman's ex  |
