black jetty thursday 8th night tide.

advance notice!!

i am going to the black jetty thursday evening for a spot of R+R (rod and reel!!!)

if anyone fancies the long slog, drop me a p.m or call me

........... high water is around 22.15. so will be looking to park up around 6 to 6.30 so i am in the water before 7!!! probably gonna head back around the witching hour dependant on wind, rain, bait and FISH.

you park at the lobster smack or side road at the end of haven road.........but please look at the "venues pics" sticky as IT IS NOT AN EASY RIDE!!!! see ya there if ya brave or stupid enough devil

One thing I did notice was the crabs were on a bit of a mission the other day up the Jetty.

It seemed there were more about than usual angry

not sure if i can get through the rubbish with me trolley!!!! disgusting up there at the moment and the base of the steps!! a few are soon going to spoil it for the masses!!! we need a clean up day and a little burn up soon i think!! if its not soon sorted the next problem will be kids setting the rubbish on fire, the brigade wont be able to get to it and it will be SHUT DOWN for certain. angry

i agree its a shame we cant put a sign up their take your rubbish home or start countin down the days you will be fishing here as it will get closed off suprise

the sad thing is all the people i have spoke to say the same thing.........but someone is doing it!!! if you put a sign there who would take notice when we ALL know its wrong!!!! got my kids next weekend or i would go up there with a wheelbarrow, some bin bags and matches up there!!! angry

think we need a thames estuary forum clean up day!!! and visit all our fav marks!!!! angry

Sounds like a good plan col.. some bin bags and our cameras.. If we see the culprits we can bag them too..!!! keen to get out at the moment but without the rod to avoid blankin' disappointment.. hear its getting warmer this weekend though maybe even a bit of sun at southend!!
