Kopite or anyone who fished on the forum boats to be used.

Footwear,
Kopite you said your feet were freezing.

I have just read somewhere that on a boat you have to wear trainers Wellingtons or proper boat shoes.

Having not been on a boat this in the winter I will need to keep my feet warm but don't want to P*** the skipper of the boat off by wearing footwear that will damage his boat.....

Please can you let me and any other boat virgins know the rights and wrongs of boat ettiquette esp correct footwear.

Cheers Cabrat.

there isnt really any rules for footwear............only two pieces of advice!!!
warm and waterproof

when i went the other day i made a mistake in wearing tight wellies with 2 layers of socks!! hence no room for air to circulate. normally wear just rigger or work boots and decent socks!!!

Col has kept you and me on different boats mick !!!!!!

He obviously found out how good your bait is and secured you on his boat not mine rolling on the floor rolling on the floor rolling on the floor

To be honest Mick everyone I have met so far off this forum have been top notch and just looking forward to a good days fishing from the boat,

Even if I do end up feeding them my breakfast as well as squid and worms.

See col,
We have our tactics getting laid out for all to see??
Gonna all be violently seasick feeding the fish then just net them close to the boat while they dine.

Who eed more than one rod ?
We rae only taking them to make it look good.
