bought some 60ld clear mono at my local tackle shop in Huddersfield yesterday. Can't remember make. £2.99 for 100m

Sufix do 80lb in clear- I use Sufix Zippy which is quite nice and supple- Sakuma also do 80lbs- i've not had any trouble getting 80lb leader to be honest- I'm surprised you have- maybe ask your tackle shop dealer to stock it- its readily available.
PS- Dappers-looking a tyour photos you've got that impact shield set far too high- you want it to be pinned close to the lead. |

I've obviously got to get down to specsavers. |Not been looking hard enough??
Leon. Glad you said that about impact shield as the measurements are straight from a ready made bought rig. But I've been having problems with them anyway and thought that as well. However it may also just be the photos taken at quite an angle to get bits in. May experiment a bit more by lengthening snood and lowering. However with about 30 ready to go, may be a little while till I make a batch.

hiya guys and gals
This post has been on for a couple of months now. Had a load of hits, BUT no real feedback.
Anyone tried it? got any ideas how to improve it? Good idea or crap??
