Hi Toprod, if your fishing the pier take lug n squid for the codling if they show, and macky strips will pull in the whiting in droves. If you want to make it easy for your lad, just fish off the right hand side of the pier in front of the footbridge, no need to cast more than a few yards, but for yourself, the 2 whiting i caught were just a bit further out just by the end of the wall on the right, after 6 you can fish from the pier with the lighthouse on, though i dont suppose anyone would bother much if you were early if its dark. good luck with the fishing, Tightlines...Mick |

Hi Toprod, just give your lad a 2 hook flapper with size 1/0 hooks and he cant fail to catch whiting there. My oppo Ian took over 17 whiting and flatties a on tuesday night with no effort, all on macky strips. just put him by the steps on the right and watch him reel em in. |
