British weather! Met have just updated the weather forecast for Fleetwood tomorrow. Now indicating 15mph (am) to 17mph (pm), gusting upto 30mph (pm). Not dangerous, but may be a bit lumpy. I'll check out your catch report when I get back in from work tomorrow. Small boats took Codling yesterday on lug bait on boat casting rods. (uptiders) |

Hi Jacko I do-not think that I will be fishing the west coast anymore well not that part (Fleetwood) 400 to 500 yards of the beach fishing in 12 to 20 ft of water and running 5+ not good conditions at all none of us blanked Mostly small dabs, whiting, I know that your trip will have been better because its on the magical coast (east) Steve |

Yeah it was ok Topfish a bit of a trek to be honest but was worth it in the end, loads of codling caught on the boat and even more pouting and a nice ling to cap it off, mostly to the skipper i might add, local knowledge lol.
Will definately be sorting a trip out there again soon, maybe a night in a hotel the night before this time though, too much to do in one day! |
