Hi folks. Just come across this site and as you all seem such a nice bunch thought I would join. Returned to fishing last year after 40 year gap (like many) and thought only places to fish were dungie and Hythe so interested what you have been saying about the Island. Had a low tide look at the bridge and dock yesterday but where do you guys park. look forward to sharing things with you in future. |

Hi there new myself mate this site is alot of help for me and my mate. We fish the kingsferry each time we go and you can easly catch bass on a baited lure. As for the parking down that way, we park in a lay by opposite the boat club. There are spaces all along that way towards the dock and the traffic is light should have no problems finding space. You can fish both sides of the bridge we both prefer the jet ski side and the boat club side tried the spot down ferry rd but wasnt fishing well at all. Hope that helps you mate. |

Hi ikeymoses welcome to the site.
I fish the bridge alot and ridam dock
If you are fishing the bridge park outside the boatyard and walk up through the boatyard its self they wont mind..
If you are fishing ridam dock park down the road further and on the side of the road just before the flo gas place on the left then there is a walkway up the side of flo gas to the river.
good luck (barehooks) |
