I fished the 02:15am tide last night (early hours tuesay morning)..didnt see you there..or do you mean the afternoon tide? If so it may of been worth mentioning as there could be people driving along way to Blackpool expecting to meet up!
Regarless hope you all caught..and anyone who goes tonight by mistake catches too!

Well lads, first my apologies for getting the dates wrong, I should have posted saying I was fishing the Wednesday morning (night) tide. Anyway, I went out and was joined by Simon76 (nice lad) from Blackburn. We fished for at least 6 hours, I caught 1 flounder after about 10 mins on the first cast and that was it all night. Simon caught 4 rockling and 1 very small whiting. Few other groups fishing but were just the same. |

Hi Pipey mate, only fished at whitehaven once about 4 weeks ago. Between 2 of us, we caught 5 doggies, one whiting and one flounder. People mostly fish the north pier(wall) of the harbour. Make sure you get there early as it can get busy. However, you can continue to fish even at low tide as there is still plenty of water around. Good luck mate. |
