Hello people, I'm new to both this part of the world and this board, I was hoping that somenice person could direct me to anywhere within london, or on a tube route (don't drive, don't want to drive!) that I can buy lug, rag, and peeler! Fish and Squid I can get from the super market allbeit a bit more expensive than the bait shop ( mind you thats an assumption!)
So folks where do I go ? |

Hi Steve,
Your best bet would probably be Tilbury tackle as it is nearest to the station, however this is a overground line and I would strongly suggest you contact them and place a bait order prior to going. The other alternative would be via the internet (from a rather large well known auction site) or where bait suppliers will deliver direct.
By the by I usually find the local fishmongers are cheaper for squid than the tackleshops paying a little as £2.00 for a box of squid.
Hope this helps
Cheers macer |
