Is there a size limit for mackerel ??

I personaly don't think so, but a mate of mine, ( a do-gooder in my opinion, but a mate all the same!!), says that there is. It wouldn't supprise me if it were true, the way things are going at the moment.

Hi, on the left hand side under resources there is a list of NFSA size limits. This lists all the minimum sizes for fish caught from both shore and boat.

Your mate would appear right, size limit is listed as 12 inches.

Good luck on catching a 12 1/4 one.
