hello mate , coming from southampton and depending where about in soton the way i go is over ichen bridge and keep going straight then follow titchfield and then chilling lane will take you along hillhead i normally fish the last few spaces before the end were the pub is just up the road , just incase seawasp didnt know which way from soton mate , warsash and titchfield thats were you want to go , no need for rod rest along the parking spaces as its railing but only problem i see with that is doing a day session you get windsurfers and jetski's which might cause a problem ,

Thanks for the directions and warnings about sufers Gaz. It's surposed to cloudy / miserable (bbc weather) Friday afternoon so hopefully there shouldn't be too much trouble with watersporters. I'll almost certainly try to get there if my feet return to their normal size (too much sunburn) so I'f I'm there I'll be the dude who looks in agony with every cast

| Where would you suggest, the carpark by the hovercraft storage place, the one on Salterns Road or the small harbour bit? maybe somewhere else completely? |
