| Whats the best way to use a joey for the bass. i.e. how to attatch to the 'ook. |

| One big, short shank hook through the snout. And don't restrict yourself to joeys. A mate of ine had a 13lb Bass recently on a 1lb 8oz Mackerel. |

If the joey Mackerel is not too small you can cut the backbone out leaving a more juicy flapper bait as many do with the larger mackerel.
Its a system thats used when fishing for Bass at Mudeford quay in Dorset, and works very well.

| MJB is right. I have caught Bass on live Mackeral more than half it's size. All you see is the Mackeral's tail sticking-out of the Bass' mouth. |
