| I pottered up and down the beach today with my fly rod and saw a guy with a ropey old rod and battered reel pull in an 8lb Bass.First time hes been fishing for years.Makes ya sick eh.So im going to give up for 6 years then try!!!! |

| Hi Bassfly, just goes to show once again that the fish don't care what what you spent on your gear. I think we met at Eastoke Point - I was fishing in the red jacket with my mate and minder Big Sean on my left. Totally rubbish night - two schoolies and two weevers is all but I think that big moon had a lot to do with it. If you want a really silly story;- last august a little lad was fishing Langstone Harbour Entrance with a bit of bacon rind when a 3 lb bass decided to take it much to the lad's amazement and mine. |
