Thanks for replying,where there any other sea species caught that you know of, or just bass, as I'm trying to see all sea species.

Hi

Deal pier fishes at any stage of tide in my experience so give it a go. Can be snaggy though, so prepare to loose a bit of gear.

We all know the pier can be very snaggy, but I've found that strength of tide can make a difference too, so one day can be snaggy, the next ok.

Did you fish the breakwater, and if so, how did you get on?
